Our School Based Soccer Program welcomes children with an active interest in Soccer. Your child will have the opportunity to perform in a large range of soccer related activities such as Refereeing, Mentoring and Coaching as well as learning the fundamentals of the game.


The Year 7 course consists of 2 practical training sessions per week (during school time), progressing to 4 sessions per week in Years 8-10, including a soccer theory component. The soccer theory component covers:

  • Laws of the game
  • Tactics and formations
  • Video performance analysis
  • Level 4 Refereeing accreditation
  • Event & team management
  • Question/Answer refereeing workshops.
  • Coaching / refereeing at carnivals / primary schools


The Soccer Squads are also involved in:

  • Interschool competitions
  • Coaching and mentoring opportunities
  • Refereeing

Students also interact with local primary schools to run coaching clinics giving them useful practical experience. Several graduates from the Soccer Program have gone on to become professional players for both the Australian International Leagues.
