Cisco Networking Academy
CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY
Kelmscott Senior High School is able to offer students the opportunity to study towards globally recognised and highly regarded qualifications (CCNA and CCENT) as part of their upper school curriculum.
Cisco Systems Inc is the worldwide leader in networking hardware and equipment. Cisco networking equipment makes up the majority of the networking infrastructure for the Internet and medium to large businesses.
As a Cisco Networking Academy, we are able to enrich our students with the knowledge required to attain a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) certification. These certifications are recognised worldwide and are held with high esteem when applying for a job in the IT industry. Our course is offered at a heavily subsidised price and is considerably cheaper than learning at TAFE, University or other external providers.
Information Evening
An information evening is being held for current Year 10 and 11 students and their parents to find out more about the benefits of enrolling in a Networking Academy course for 2010. You will be able to hear from current teaching staff, students, a representative from leading internet company, iiNet and other Network Academy staff.
When: Monday 15th June, 2009 5:30-6:30pm
Where: KSHS Library
Light refreshments will be supplied. Please confirm your attendance by contacting Peter Harper by Thursday 11th June on 9495 7449 or email
